THE GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF ULTRAHIGH PRESSURE METAMORPHIC CRUSTOSE IN THE DABIE MTS AND THE IMPLICATIONS

Qian Cunchao Lu Yulin Jia Shijun (Anhui Academy of Geological Survey,Hefei 230001)  
The outcropped metamorphic crustoses in the southern Dabie Mts which have been subjected to ultrahigh-high pressure metamorphism consist of gneiss,schist,felsic granular rock,marble,plagioclase amphibolite,etc Their diagenesis is thought to have taken place in the early-to mid-Proterozoic time and the protoliths are a suite of detrital rocks and carbonate rocks intercalated with volcanic formation. Their tectonic setting should be the active continental margin related to continental island arc All these are helpful to the discussion on the eclogite and even the ultrahigh pressure metamorphic belt and exhumation mechanism
