Research on Ultrasonic Dgradation of Acid Brilliant Scarlet GR Dye Wastewater

The ultrasonic destruction to acid brilliant scarlet GR dye wastewater was studied in this paper.The effects of initial-concentration,pH value on sonolysis was compared in detail,and the decomposing mechanism was investigated.The results of experiment indicate that when the wastewater's initial-concentration of 100mg/L and 200mg/L is ultrasonic degradation 120min,the colority of wastewater reduces almost constantly and CODcr in wastewater rises 20.7% and 23.1%.While pH value and initial-concentration is 10mg/L,30mg/L and 50mg/L,UV-Vis analysis indicates that the structure of GR is destroyed,its naphthyl and phenyl is opened partly,and the color decay rate reached 51.8%,36.9%,35.6% respectively.
