Study of Uncertainty Evaluation for the Determination of Aluminum Content in Vermicelli by Inductively Coupled Plasma-mass Spectrometry(ICP-MS)

The content of Aluminum in food was determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(ICP-MS).The various factors that affect the uncertainty were systematically analyzed. A mathematical model for uncertainty evaluation was established and used to comparatively evaluate the uncertainties of the analytical method. In this study, the combined standard uncertainty of the measurement results was 0.772 2 mg/kg, and the expanded uncertainty was 1.54 mg/kg(k=2). The final result of Aluminum content in vermicelli was(70.22 ± 1.54)mg/kg(k=2, P=95%). This method has a reference effect on the uncertainty evaluation of the results of the determination of Aluminum in vermicelli by ICP-MS.
