Glucose biosensor based on poly(toluidine blue) and carbon nanotubes composite films modified glassy carbon electrode

A stable electropolymerized toduiline blue films were deposited on the glassy carbon by the method of cyclic voltammetry,the electropolymerized toluidine blue films were used as electron mediators,and the matrix of the multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWNTs),chitosan(CHIT) and glucose oxidase(GOD) was immobilized on the surface of poly(toluidine blue) modified glass carbon electrode.The result of the experiment showed that the linear dependence of current of the biosensor was in the range of 5.0×10-6~2.0×10-2 mol/L with a correlation coefficient of 0.996 9,the detection limit of the sensor was 1×10-6,the response time was 3.2s.The common interferents,such as uric acid and ascorbic acid,could also be effectively eliminated by the proposed method.
