Preparation and surface modification of zinc oxide nanoparticles

ZHANG Cui-Ge,TANG Ding-Xing(Dept.of Bioc.Engn.,Anhui University of Technology and Science,Wuhu 241000,China)  
With H2C2O4·2H2O and Zn(Ac)2·2H2O as raw materials,the precursor ZnC2O4·2H2O is synthesized by solid-phase reaction at room temperature,nanometer ZnO is obtained by decomposing the precursor at 460℃ for 2h and then modified respectively using sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate and sodium stearate.The properties of the product are characterized by XRD and TEM.Meanwhile,the dispersibility properties of ZnO are investigated with the spectrophotometer in the organic medium.The results show that: nanometer ZnO has a diameter of 30~70nm,and the method of solid-phase reaction improves the dispersibility of nanometer ZnO.
