On the Preseravation Synergisim Effects of Banana Slurry of Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate with Several Additions

The preservation effects of banana slurry of potassium sorbate and Sodium benzoate have been investigated with the addition of citric acid, EDTA, ascorbic acid and CaCl2. It was found that the addition of either 02～03% citric acid or 001～003% EDTA or 002～006% ascorbic acid had significant synergism effect on the preservation effect. If of 006～008% sodium benzoate was used as preservative substance, an addition of 006% ascoric acid as corkic Acid would show strong synergism effect.
