ANALYSIS OF DENITRIFYING BACTERIA IN BIOFILM-ELECTRODE PROCESS

The preliminary separation for group of bacteria surviving in the biofilm-electrode denitrification reactor had been investigated. The result showed that three groups had been identified from 40 bacteria strains by a series of morphological observation and physiology-biochemistry experiments. They are Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter and Enterobacteriaceae.The dominant bacteria among them were Enterobacteriaceae Pseudomonas with 82.5%. Eighteen types of bacteria for denitrification were involved in the twenty-four groups separated in the heterotrophic reactor with 75.0% of Enterobacteriaceae as dominant bacteria,eight types are high efficiency with 33.3%;Twelve types of bacteria for denitrification were involved in the sixteen groups separated in the autotrophic reactor with 75% of Pseudomonas strains,eight types are high efficiency with 50%.
