The cause and prevention of deformation of prestressed T-shaped beam

As a result of prestress,T-shaped beam of post-prestressed concrete appears invert camber and lateral bending on the prestretching stage.During the beam-preserving time,creep effect increases the deformation, which may exceed the code limits.Without any control measures taken,the deformation can result in difficulties for construction and pose as potential menace for structural safety.So in this paper,the cause of deformation is analyzed from the angles of design and construction.At the same time,mechanics analysis is developed and the action of creep is calculated with the combination of the actual engineering.The method of deformation control is also proposed in the paper,which can be used for references to design and construction of bridge.
