The research of smoke transfer characteristic in high-rise building fires

After the simulation of teaching building smoke transfer by FDS software,the harmful gas CO concentration changed similar in the horizontal direction,the products of harmful gas composition can spread to the long-distance along the horizontal direction and own concentration little changed,CO concentration peak changed ladder-like with the height significantly.From the numerical simulation results,it had been proved that why a large number of staff have died in the long-distance.The main reason may be that people inhaled a lot of the oncoming(not coming back) harmful gas CO and proposed improvements of the structural design of building fire against high-rise building fire smoke migration issues.In this paper,the numerical simulation provided information theory for the future of the full-size experiment and has a guiding role on evaluation of buildings fire smoke.
