The physical presentation and theoretical model of polymer-surfactant interaction

CHEN Xiao-ming (School of Materials and Chemical Engineering,Anhui University of Architecture,Hefei 230022)
The physical presentation and theoretical model of polymer-surfactant interaction have been summarized in this paper. The interaction between nonionic water-soluble polymer and ionic surfactant can be described by the "pearl-necklace" model, and the "two-stage" model can be used to depict the polyelectrolyte-oppositely charged surfactant interactions.
