Stress analysis of extradosed cable-stayed bridge at the stage of maximum twin cantilevers

YU Ya-hui,ZHANG Fei,XU Bin(School of Civil Engineering,Hefei University of Technology,Hefei 230009,China)  
Based on a 22m wide,60m+100m+60m long extradosed cable-stayed bridge,general finite element analysis software ANSYS is applied to establish a three-dimensional finite model,and the professional finite element software Midas/Civil is applied to establish a plane one.Through comparative analysis of the stress result of three-dimensional and plane at the stage of maximum twin cantilevers,the characteristic of spatial stress is concluded.The conclusion above may give some instruction for engineers in designing and construction monitoring extradosed cable-stayed bridges.
