Application of genetic algorithm to optimum design of drain section

CHENG Zhi-hong(Anhui Survey and Design Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydropower,Hefei 230088,China)  
Drain design is a familiar design of water conservancy project,it must satisfy the request of water level,clash and slit to the drain,it's also under the limit of soil using and invest.Economy and practicality are the aims of design.Based on the idea of economy and practicality section,it constructs the minimum objective function of drain's optimum design model,and searches the value of optimum variable at the aid of the genetic algorithm.It's practical.The paper applies the model to the design of drain dredging up,the effect is good.
