Study on calculation method of cable curve and internal force for long-span suspension bridge

Along with the increase of the spans of suspension bridges,the influence with geometric nonlinear character gets more and more notable.Therefore,how to consider its influence accurately and reasonably in structural analysis has great engineering value and theory significance.The basic principles which should be followed such as finished dead state,erection linetype of cable state,and linetype of lifting stiffening girders state in cable curve and internal force calculation of long-span suspension are elaborated in details,in which temperature correction of main cable has been fully considered during the consruction stages.Based on the above analysis method,the program SUSP-CABLE is compiled on calculation of cable for suspension bridge.Then,through calculating examples,have verified the correctness of calculation method in this paper.It is also a reference for the engineers.
