Correlation Between the Free Expansion Rate and the Liquid Limit of Cohesive Soil at Hefei Area

Ding Jun'en (Anhui Engineering Survey and Design Institute , Hefei 230001, China)  
According to the experimental data ,the article makes statistical analysis of the correlation between the free expansion rate and the liquid limit of cohesive soil at Hefei area , brings out a linear equation to work out the free expansion rate with liquid limit, to judge the expansibility of the cohesive soil if combined with the geological characteristics of the engineering.
