The Application of Risk Management in Deep Foundation Pit Engineering

How to reduce the possible accidents and the consequent losses constitutes the most urgent problem in deep foundation pit engineering. According to the general procedure of risk management, the risk factors in deep foundation pit engineering are identified through a case study; the possible risks are analyzed with expert investigation method and AHP method; ways of risk control are discussed; the open questions in risk management of deep foundation pit engineering and the further improvement work are stressed.
