Application of DNA molecular markers technology in the sweetpotato breeding

In recent years,the DNA molecular markers,for instance RAPD,AFLP,ISSR,S-SAP and SRAP which based on PCR technology have been began to used in the study of the sweetpotato breeding.This article has analysed the principle of DNA molecular markers and mainly included the application of it in the research to origin,evolution,classification,genetic diversity,variety identification,genetic map construction and marker-aided selection in sweetpotato.
