The Application of Remote Techniques to Monitor Diseases and Insect Pests of Rice

Xie Baicheng et al(Institute of Meteorology Science of HuNan Province 410007)  
The principle and technology route of monitoring the rice diseases and insect pests were introduced in this paper.The survey of rice diseases and insect and pests in Hunan were described.Choose the MODIS data to monitor rice diseases and insect pests as same as erect forecast system will be discussed.It expected to offer reference for monitoring crop diseases and insect pests.
