Progress on Research of Introduction of Pollen-tube

Pollen-tube pathway is a transformation method which does not depend on plant cell and tissue culture.It is important for plant genetic transformation and crop breeding.Through this paper,we can get a brief summary and overview about its theory and methods,advantages and disadvantages,as well as its application on breeding in recent years.Pollen-tube pathway method is established by the Chinese biologist Mr.Zhou Guangyu,and its molecular mechanism is currently not very clear.This method,whose breeding time is short,has many advantages.Such as,it is very simple,and it won't be controled by genotype.In recent years its application on plant breeding is very extensive,The application prospect is inestimable.
