Effects of Different Transplanting Density on Yield and Economic Characters of Double Season Late Rice

The effects of different transplanting density on growth stages,tillering dynamics,grain yield and its eco-nomic characters of late rice were studied in the present paper by using Hyou 518 as the material.The results showedthat the growth period of later was shorter with the transplanting density increasing.And the tillering dynamics,pro-ductive panicle number increased with the transplanting density increasing.However,the percentage of productivetiller of late rice decreased with the transplanting density increasing.The results indicated that the grain yield of laterice were higher under the transplanting density of 23.3cm×13.3cm,and 150×104/hm2 condition.
