Effect of Fertilizer and Water Managementon Nitrogen Efflciency in Pddy Field

Guo Xisheng, Zhang Xinwei, Zhu Hongbin, Ye Xuya (Institute of soil and Fertilizer, Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Hefei 230031)  
The effect of N requirement, N response of rice, N—fertilizer application and water management in paddy field on the efficiency of N—fertilizer was elucidated. The optimum amount of N—fertlizer applied was important. Reducing the N—fertilizer application rate at early stage, increasing the rate at middle stage of rice growth (panicle initiation), combining with water and fertilizer management, and making water take fertilizer into soil must be adopted to increase the N—fertilizer efficiency in paddy field.
