Studies on the Variations of Leaf Tissue Structure in Flue-curing Process of Flue-cured Tobacco

Li Weifang et al (Hefei Institute of Economics and Technology,Hefei,230052)  
The variations of tobacco leaf tissue structure in the flue-curing proccess were studied by using resin embedding and semicutting section. The main results were as follows: (1)The palisade tissue and spongy tissue of tabcco leaf gradually shrinked and turned thin as flue-curing was going on,but the thickness of the upper-episperm and lower-episperm changed only a litte and the vasscular bundle changed slowy ; (2)At the beginning of vein-dryed,the cells of palisade tissue,spongy tissue and epidermis,had broken and collapsed,and their interior material had been mixed,and the vascular bundles of veinlet began to burst and dis-solve too,but the vascular structure of lateral veins and midribs did not change.
