Identification of Biological Affinity of Pleutrrotus ferulae and P. eryngii

PAN Zhi-ming et al (College of Materials and Bioengineering, Chengdu University of Technology, Chengdu,Sichuan 610059)  
The compatibility between Pleurotus ferulae and P. eryngii was determined by mating test, and the intensity of their somatic incompatibility interaction and the difference in basidiospores and the shape of fruiting bodies were observed in this paper. The results indicated that none of 55 pairing combinations was compatible. On the basis of matter in fact, they could not belong to identical biological species.
