Study on the Phytoremediation of Heavy Metal Contamination Soil

The soil pollution has been the one of the serious environmental problems with the rapid development of the industry and the growth of the world population nowadays all over the world. A large number of harmful substances in the contaminated soil, especially the heavy metal pollutant that has potential threat to the mankind, have been paid attention to increasingly. At present , some physical chemistry methods were mainly used to deal with the heavy metal pollutant in the world, but they had some disadvantages , such as high cost, hard-operation , secondary pollution ,etc. Although phytoremediation was limited in species of plants, rhizosphere and the elements of the pollutant, some research indicated the research had wide practical prospect in environmental protection.The reseach on phytoremedition for the alleivation of heavy metal in the contaminated soil was introduced in the paper.
