Daily Change of Photosynthesis and Chlorophyll Fluorescence of Three Osmanthus fragrans Lour.Cultivars Leaf

Three cultivars of sweet Osmanthus,Liuyegui,Shangui and Sijigui were used as materials to investigate the content of water,photosynthetic pigment and the diurnal changes of photosynthesis(Pn),transpiration rate,chlorophyll fluorescence(Fv/Fm).The results showed that: the content of the water and photosynthetic pigment in Liuyegui and Shangui had no significant difference but more obvious difference than Sijigui.The changes of Pn and transpiration rate appeared singular peak that increased at first and then decreased.The peak of Pn appeared at about 10 o'clock am,while the peak of the transpiration rate appeared at about 12 o'clock.The daily changes of maximal photochemistry efficiency appeared a tendency of falling firstly and then rising.
