Change of Grain Filling Characteristics and Endogenous Hormone Content in Grain of Barley During Drought Stress

In order to study the effects of drought stress on grain filling characteristics and endogenous hormone of Barley,the dynamic changes of grain filling characteristics and endogenous hormone content and the ratio of barley in filling stage of two varieties grown in Xinjiang were studied with the culturing method in proof-rainfull-trough.The results showed that drought stress had restrained grain-filling rate and shortened grain-filling time,decreased transportation efficiency of photosynthetic product to harvest organ under drought stress condition,which was closely related to the changes in the content of endogenous hormone.Under drought stress the high value of DHZR played a main role in the construction of grains companied with relatively high value ratio of DHZR/GA_4.Decreased grain-filling rate was related to low content of IAA,iPA,ZR and DHZR during grain-filling stage.During earlier filling stage,the high content of ABA showed the positive effect on the filling rate,but was observed at later stage.
