Effect of Radiation of ~(60)Co-γ Ray on Dissoluble Sugar and Starch Content of Anthurium andraeanum

We studied on the effects of radiation of 60Co-γ ray on soluble sugar and starch content of Anthurium andraeanum.The results showed that the content of soluble sugar was obviously changed at 10 Gy,which was 2.54 times more than that of check.The content of protein was most increased at 30 Gy as high as 173.1 %.The content of chlorophyll was least at 60 Gy.There was significant negative correlation between radiation dosage and chlorophyll and positive correlation between the content of carotenoids and chlorophylla.
