Research Advance in Candidate Gene Affecting Pig Meat Quality Trait

The improvement of pig meat quality trait is a hotspot in genetic breeding.Searching major gene by candidate gene strategy for improvement of pig meat quality is feasible in molecular genetics.In this review,the advance in some genes correlation with pig meat quality were introduced.These genes are halothane gene(Hal),Rendement Napole gene(RN),Heart fatty acid binding protein gene(H-FABP),hormone sensitive lipase gene(HSL)and lipoprotein lipase gene(LPL).
