Effect of Soil Moisture on the Content of Nitrate and Chlorogenic Acid in Honeysuckle

The effects of soil moisture on the content of nitrate and chlorogenic acid in honeysuckle were studied.The results indicated with the decrease of soil moisture,two parameters both increased first and slipped then and the content of nitrate ranged from 1 624 mg/kg to 1 833 mg/kg.The high content of nitrate in honeysuckle should draw the researchers' attention to the nitrate pollution in honeysuckle and other Chinese traditional medicine.
