Study on the Soil Erosion Change in the Dabie-tongbo Mountainous area in Huaihe River Basin

In this paper the soil erosion data from the geography information system of the TM remote sensing image of the Dabietongbo mountainous area from 1995 to 2000 was analyzed.The result indicated the most soil erosion of this mountainous area was water erosion.Compared with 1995,the soil erosion of mid-degree was reduced in 2000 and its light degree was evidently increased,the 98.50 % of light degree water erosion in 2000 was translated from the tiny degree water erosion in 1995.The soil loss of infield and woodland were the main loss type in this area and the tiny and light erosion was 95.29 % in the total erosion area.
