Computer Aided Rice Plant Type Measurement

MENG Jun et al (Life Science Department of Luoyang Normal University,Luoyang,Henan 471022)  
On the basis of digital photograph,the computer aided plant type measurement method was studied with the way of characteristic point selection.The examination made in the field experiments showed that this method worked well,but because of less characteristic point,a little error may exist when this method was used in curved organs.The data revivification in use of computer graphics showed that simulated figure could indicate major characteristics of different plant types and the credibility of this method was validated in some extent.
