Study on the Determination Factor of Reduced Sugar with DNS Spectrophotometry

The results of determination of reducing sugar with DNS spectrophotometry showed that the proper volume of DNS sample was 2.0 ml.The solution volume of samples and standard substances must be kept the same when reacted.Colour reaction in the condition of boiling water bath was kept for at least 2 minutes.Absorbance of the coloured solution was determined at the wavelength of 520 nm for 30 minutes for the volume-making.
