Inhibition of Chitosan oligosaccharides to TMV and its Effect on Defensive Enzyme of Tobacco

MA Di et al (Shenyang Agricultural University,Shenyang,Liaoning 110161)  
Before inoculation with TMV some days,the tobacco treated with chitosan-oligosaccharides was tested in inhibition to TMV and its effect on defensive enzymes.The results indicated that the inhibition rate was up to 79.10% in Nicotiana glutinosa on 10~(th) day and the control effect was 32.41% in Nicotiana tobaccum cv.NC89 on 10~(th)day.The activity of PAL,POD,PPO,SOD and the content of the solubility of protein was increased with various degrees.So it can prove that the chitosan-oligosaccharides can induce the resistance of tobacco to TMV,thereby it can strengthen the immunity of tobacco.
