Research Progress in the Ginkgolides of Ginkgo Leaf

LIAO Yong-ling et al (School of Horticulture and Gardening,Yangtze University,Jingzhou,Hubei 434025)  
The ginkgolides and bilobalide were selective platelet-activating factor antagonists and widely applied in the illness of blood vessel of heart and brain.Their types and structures,extraction and separation,detection methods and influencing factors of its content in ginkgo leaf were summarized.The outlook of the methods of increasing content of ginkgolides and bilobalide was analyzed.
