Water Physiological Characteristics of Atriplex canescens(Pursh)Nutt under Soil-water Stress in Desert Areas

KANG Cai-zhou et al (Gansu Desert Control Research Institute,Gansu Key Laboratory of Desertification Combating,Wuwei,Gansu 733000)  
The indicators were observed,such as leaf water potential,leaf water saturation deficient,relative water content,free and bound water contents,water holding capacity of Atriplex canescens(Pursh)Nutt which was planted in basin with controlled water.Based on the observation,research on drought-resistant,water physiological characteristics of Atriplex canescens(Pursh)Nutt under different soil and water stress in desert areas were conducted.The results showed Atriplex canescens(Pursh)Nutt,to some extent,was strong in drought-resistance.
