Utilization of SSR Markers in Maize Genetic Breeding

WANG Yong et al (Agricultural College,Guangxi University,Nanning,Guangxi 530005)  
The principle,characteristics and types of SSR markers were introduced.In addition,its application was mainly reviewed in three aspects including the construction of the genetic linkage map,the detection of the purity of variety and the study of the maize genetic diversity.
