Effect of Enhancement of UV-B Radiation on Yield and Quality of Rice

MAO Xiao-yan et al (Shenyang Agricultural University,Shenyang,Liaoning 110161)  
Two japonica cultivars were investigated to study the effect of the enhancement of UV-B radiation on the yield and the quality of the rice.The results showed that with the enhancement of UV-B radiation,the number of effective panicles,the spikelets per panicle,the seed rate,and the weight of kilo grain decreased.The milling quality,appearance quality and cooking quality decreased with the increase of UV-B radiation.
