Decision Analysis of the Yield Characters of Waxy Corn F-1

The correlation and decision analysis of ten yield characters of waxy corn F1 was studied.The results showed that the fresh weight per ear(with leaf) and net weight per ear were significantly and positively correlated with ear length,kernels per row,ear diameter,bare tip length and plant height.While ear length was significantly correlated with bare tip length and kernel per row.The result of path and decision analysis showed that agronomic characters influencing fresh weight per ear and net weight per ear were ear diameter,kernels per row,plant height,ear length and ear height.Ear length,kernels per row,ear diameter and plant height were main principal decision characters and ear height was main restricted character.
