Approach of the Development of Bamboo Culture and Tourism Resource in China

Regarded by English scholars as "a Country with Bamboo Civilization",China is the country which is endowed with the richest bamboo resources and also the earliest one to exploit bamboo resources.In the "top ten lands of bamboo in China" and other main producing areas,the bamboo resources have exerted the profound influences on the local society,economy,culture and tourism.Enjoying the exceptional advantages of abundant bamboo resources,lands of bamboo in China and other main producing areas have been endeavored to discover the culture essence in bamboo,and have been developed in the culture tourism with the theme of bamboo culture,so that they have been attained with economic benefit,social benefit and ecological benefit.Characterized by "complexity",bamboo culture resources possess the property of natural,historical and social tourism resources at the same time.And it has become the core component of bamboo culture products in the form of "compound tourism resources".The bamboo culture tourism resources can be subdivided into 4 types,including visible and invisible tourism resources and non-material cultural heritage.The bamboo culture tourism resources have rich connotation,high tourism value,and great potentiality in tourism exploitation.The bamboo culture tourism products can greatly satisfy the requirement of both real and potential tourist-generating market.
