SSR Marker and its Application to Maize

YU Xin-yan et al (Agricultural College,Shenyang Agricultural University,Shenyang,Liaoning 110161)  
This paper clarified the theories and characteristics of SSR.And its applications in genetic polymorphism and genetic relationship,establishment of DNA fingerprinting-pool,construction of genetic map,gene localization and marker-aided selection of maize were summarized.The method opens up broad prospects for the studies of plant genetics.
