Effects of Fermentation Liquid of Trichoderma viride Strain T23 on Defense Enzyme Activities in Tomato

Fermentation liquid of Trichoderma viride strain T23 produced by improved GPF medium was applied to the research on tomatoes.Effects of different consistency of fermentation liquid on several defense enzymes in tomato were studied.Result showed that the activities of defense enzymes enhanced significantly,such as phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL),peroxidase(POD),polyphenol oxidase(PPO) and superoxide(SOD).Trichoderma showed great potential in promoting plant growth.
