Effect of Low Temperature Stress in Short time on Physiological Characteristics of Thymus

BIAN Jin-shan et al(College of Horticulture,Shenyang Agricultural University,Shenyang,Liaoning 110161)  
The resisting physiological and biochemical indexes of Cold veoistance in four Thymus species was tested after 12 hours under different low temperatures.Results showed that the electrolyte leakage and the content of soluble sugar and proline under low temperature stress were higher than those of the check temperature.After synthetic evaluation,sample from Qingdao had the best cold resistance.
