Influence of EMS on the Growth of Dunaliella salina

ZHAO Liang-xia et al(College of Agriculture,Anhui Agricultural University,Hefei,Anhui 230036)  
Mutation strain of actidione Act were screened from Dunaliella salina with Ethyl Methyl Sulphonate(EMS) under the treatment of different concentrations and the effects of EMS on the growth of Dunaliella salina A1 were studied.The results showed that the resistant concentration of Act for the Dunaliella salina A1 was 0.05 mg/L,the resistant concentration of Act for the mutation strain was 0.4 mg/L,the growth rate of the mutation strain was significantly lower than that of Dunaliella salina,A1.EMS ingibited the growth of the Dunaliella salina.
