Analysis of Genotype×Environment Interaction of Rice and Its Relationship with Climatic Factors in Liaoning

Through the analysis of yield stability and adaptability of eleven rice varieties selected from the middle-late maturity group of Liaoning province rice regional trial in 2004 at eight trial units,the relationship between the Genotype×Environment interaction and climatic factors was studied.The results showed that there was a remarkable difference of rice yield between different varieties and spots.The results of AMMI model indicated that some varieties had special adaptability in a certain spot,such as Yutian202 at the Wangshuitai of Liaoyang and Dashiqiao Agricultural Technology Extension Center,Shennong 9866,Liaoyan188 and Liaoxing3 around Shenyang area,Liaoyou2006 in the Agricultural Science Station of Haicheng Xisi and Liaoning Salt Soil Research Institute, respectively;both the stability and adaptability of Liaojing294 and Shennong9765 were preferably.Among the climatic factors,the temperature and solar radiation were the main factors effected the Genotype×Environment interaction,and the adaptability to climatic factors was different among varieties,for example,Liaoyan188 had especial adaptability in the environment with lower temperature,Yutian202 have especial adaptability in the area with less solar radiation hours,and Liaojing294,Shennong9765 and Huajing8 were adaptable in most trial spots.
