Correlation Analysis of Brassica napus.Quality Traits and Prediction of F_2 Quality

ZHU Zong-he et al(Anhui Tianhe Academy of Agricultural Science and Technology,Hefei,Anhui 230051)  
5 cytoplasmic male sterile lines and 33 restorer lines were used to produce 165 hybrids by North Carolina Ⅱmating design.Quality traits,combining ability and heterosis of the hybrids were analyzed.Result showed that F2 generation had significant or extremely significant positive correlation in quality traits,combining ability and heterosis.Heterosis utilization was an effect method for rape quality improvement.The effect of heterosis utilization depended on parental quality and combining ability.The sum of parental quality and combining ability could be used to predict their F2 generation quality traits and select parents.
