Numerical Simulation of Water and Heat Transfer During Unsaturated Soil Freezing

Based on the basic equations of simultaneous soil water and heat transfer during soil freezing,the coupled equation of moisture and heat was deduced.The equations were solved numerically by the finite difference method with Grank-Nicolson.As a result the simulated values of water content and temperature followed the measured values closely.
