Extraction of Sweet Tea Polyphenol from Crude Extracts and Debittering Residues of Guangxi Sweet Tea

Objective Sweet tea polyphenol was extracted from crude extracts and debittering residues of Guangxi sweet tea.The comprehensive utilization prospect of Guangxi sweet tea was studied.Method Production was obtained through preparation of sweet tea polyphenol solution,sweet tea polyphenol extraction,detection of polyphenol content and resin absorption.The soluble solids of the production were weighed.Result During the process of debittering and crude extraction,residues with high sweet tea polyphenol content were obtained.After dissolving with acid and absorbing by macroporous resin DM-301,the purity of sweet tea polyphenol could reach 72.12 %.Conclusion This research had high development and utilization value and provided helpful explore for the comprehensive utilization of Guangxi sweet tea.
