Preliminary Study on the Repairing Potential of Phytolacca acinosa Roxb.on Cd-Zn Compound Pollution in Soil

The research was constructed to know the repairing potential of Phytolacca acinosa Roxb.on Cd-Zn compound pollution in soil.In potted experiments,under Cd-Zn compound pollution and the condition of Zn nutrition,the effects of Cd pollution on the growth of P.acinosa,and the enrichment capability for Cd and Zn was studied.For P.acinosa under Cd-Zn compound pollution,the maximum permissible concentration for Cd and Zn were recommend as 150 mg/kg and 300 mg/kg respectively.The Cd content in P.acinosa was increased with the addition concentration of Cd in soil,whether under single-factor pollution or under compound pollution.Synergistic actions existed between Cd and Zn at the aerial part of P.acinosa.The low concentration of Cd in soil promoted the Zn absorption in plants,while low concentration of Zn had motivating actions for the Cd absorption in plants.When the Zn content in soil was less than 200 mg/kg,the Cd accumulation in the roots of P.acinosa was increased with the increment of Zn concentration,which caused by the interaction of Cd and Zn.When the Zn content in soil was more than 200 mg/kg,the Cd accumulation in root of P.acinosa had a negative correlation with the Zn concentration.Zn in soil with the concentration of 0~200 mg/kg promoted the growth of P.acinosa and total amount of Cd enrichment.
