Study on Medium and Trace Element Contents of Tobacco Leaves in Bijie Area

CHEN Xue et al(Tobacco Company of Bijie Area,Bijie,Guiyang 551700)  
Through analyzing 275 tobacco leave samples in 2004,experiments were carried out to study the medium and trace elements in tobacco leaves of Bijie area.The result indicated that the average contents of Cu,Zn,Mn,Fe,Mg and Ca were 7.89 mg/kg,40.51 mg/kg,225.96 mg/kg,444.72 mg/kg,0.46 % and 2.95 %.Contents of Cu,Zn and Ca were moderate.Tobacco leaves were rich in Mn and Fe and poor in Mg.Contents of Cu and Zn mounted up from bottom leaves to top leaves,while Fe,Mn and Ca had the opposite trend.Mn content in orange leaves was rich than lemon leaves at the same part of leaves.Different color leaves had almost the same content of Cu,Zn,Fe,Ca and Mg.
