Spatial Distribution Pattern of Wild Populations of Ornamental Trees on Shade Slopes and Semi-shady Slopes in Laoye Mountain of Datong County

[Objective] The aim of the study was to get know the spatial distribution pattern of wild populations of ornamental trees on the shade slopes and semi-shade slopes in Laoye mountain of Datong County.[Method] Based on the methods of TTLQV and PQV,the spatial distribution pattern of dominant ornamental plant populations of Populus davidiana,Betula platyphylla and Qinghai Picea crassifolia on the shade slopes and semi-shade slopes in Laoye mountain of Datong County was studied and its pattern formation was analyzed.[Result] The individuals of 3 populations in the present stage all showed obvious aggregated distribution characteristics,in which,the agglomeration degree of Qinghai P.crassifolia was maximum and that of B.platyphylla was minimum,and the aggregations of Qinghai P.crassifolia and P.davidiana present even distribution.The pattern formation was related to the propagation characteristics of species,and light resource competition of interspecies made further changes of pattern intensity and texture.[Conclusion] The individuals of 3 populations of P.davidiana,B.platyphylla and Qinghai P.crassifolia all showed aggregated distributions,and the horizontal distribution of whole community showed zyklopisch.
