Analysis on Driving Forces and Spatio-temporal Evolution of Land Use Structure in Xianning City

CHEN Zhi et al (School of Resources and Environment Science, Xianning College, Xianning, Hubei 437100)  
By using the land use detailed survey database from 1996 to 2005 in Xianning city, based on information entropy of information theory information entropy of land use structure in recent 10 years in Xianning city was calculated. Spatio-temporal evolution characters and its driving forces of land use structure in Xianning city were analyzed.
